The second edition of our Summer School has improved its features to increase your comfort and your learning curve in the matter of

growing your own food!

Hello there! We are Perma Future, and we apply the model of Market Gardening to our field in order to increase diversity, enhance biodiversity and stimulate self-regulation and growth!

Simplifying, this means that

  • our vegetables enjoy being planted next to neighbors who attract insects that are malevolent for them;

  • that they like when we mash herbs and veggies of the area to turn them into fertilizers;

  • that our plants are taking advantage of the controlled PH of their dirt, that we crafted by mixing dung, volcanic earth, mushroom compost, compost, zeolite, coal, etc …

In 2023, 8 weekends took place over Spring, Summer and Autumn, because we went through the journey of the fields and the plants as if we were to make everything from scratch. Although, your precious feedback made us realize that also “normal people with a normal balcony” could enjoy the classes, therefore: here’s the new format!

We welcome you entirely during the Summer season, so we are sure that you can camp on site, or find an airbnb by the lake! The program’s facing leisure time for you to freely spend in Nature; permaculture lessons on land and frontal with your booklet on which you can take notes; workshops and yoga; bonfire, healthy and complete meals from the source, sauna and community.

On the 19+20+21 of July the season is at its highest, and every Summer vegetable is opening itself to the sun light! We thought about starting from here so that you can learn how to support the garden in its growth, and observe the natural flow of natural rhythms. There’s also seeding and planting involved, as a preparation to Autumn and Winter.

On the 16+17+18 of August, we will take care of preparing the change of Season that will soon come: pruning, trimming, covering the beds and harvest the healthy and big veggies, seeing how to store them or cook them to bring them forward.

On the 6+7+8 of September we will harvest the late Summer - early Autumn veggies, prepare the crops for winter nourishment with green, organic cover, take care of the tools, and of the body, using the herbs to prepare creams and oils.
